The kitchen sink can be one of the dirtiest places in your home right up their with the toilet. Why? Because food attracts bacteria. Over time if not cleaned a kitchen sink can create unwanted odor, loose it’s shine and possibly become stained. Luckily clean your kitchen sink can be done with basic in-home items. Let’s get started!
You will need the following items:
Dish Soap
Baking Soda
Warm Water
A Sponge
A Microfiber Cloth or a Rag
Step 1: Make Your Cleaning Solution
Mix warm water and a squirt of dish soap in a separate bowl.
Step 2: Scrub the Sink
Dip your sponge in the solution and scrub your sink to remove any small or stuck on food particles.
Step 3: Make Your Polish
Next create a paste by mixing a small amount of water with baking soda. This will not only help your kitchen sink shine, but it will also remove any unwanted odors that are attatched to your sink.
Step 4: Scrub Again
Using the finer microfiber cloth or rag scrub the sink with the polish solution to remove any discoloration or stains.
Step 5: Rinse
Lastly, rinse away any remaining baking soda paste.
